Although this is traditionally a day about two people coming together to celebrate their nuptials. Let’s be honest ladies, it really is a day about you! What will you be wearing? What type of bouquet will you choose? And how are you going to have your hair and makeup?
Well, you have come to the right place! I want your husband to be to melt at the knees when he catches his first glimpse of you.
Training in makeup back in 1997, I have looked after many many brides over the years. I love what I do, and this shows in the care and attention to detail with every individual that I work with.

Trials are held in my gorgeous makeup studio in Island Bay. Please allow 2-3 hours. We will initially spend some time over a cup of tea or coffee going through the certain look that you are wanting to achieve. I recommend brides bring along their bridal folder which is a collection of pictures from magazines of different hair and makeup looks that you like. A picture or photo of your dress. A swatch from your dress. Pictures of accessories you may be wearing etc. I have the cream of the crop of the top international bridal magazines for us both to flick through as well!
If you are a bride coming from overseas, arrangements can be made for me to travel to your venue the day prior to your wedding and hold your trial then. Other beauty treatments can also be incorporated into this time such as manicures, pedicures, lash tinting, brow shaping, lash extensions etc.
All over information to plan for your trial will be sent through to you prior to the day, so that you are totally prepared.

Your wedding day

On your wedding day, I travel to where ever it is you and your bridal party are getting ready. I bring along my 'trade mark' portable makeup studio with specific lights for makeup, my comfortable makeup chair and all of my makeup and hair equipment. All you and your ladies in waiting need to do is relax and sip on your champagne!
A face chart made up previously at your makeup and hair trial is brought along, accompanied with photographs. This ensures that your makeup and hair will look just as gorgeous as they did when we did your run through.
If you have a larger bridal party, I always bring along a lovely assistant to ensure that we run on time.
I stay until your are whisked away in your car just in case an extra set of hands are needed with dressing or getting Dad's rose into his button hole.
For me, it is always a wonderful privilege to be a small part of your wedding and helping woman like you feel like they are top of the world!
